  • There are many options when deciding which paint finish to use for each room. For a detailed explination on the different finishes and best locations for each, check out our blog post linked below.

How to Choose the Right Paint

  • For a homes exterior, it is recommended to repaint every 5-10 years. For interior painting, it depands on the specific room and the daily usage. For higher traffic areas such as kitchens, hallways and bathrooms we recommend painting every 2-4 years. For rooms incurring less wear and tear we recommend repainting every 4-6 years.

  • We kindly ask that you remove all pictures and hanging items from the walls. If possible move small items and small furniture towards the center of the room. We can handle moving larger furniture.

  • We primarily use Sherwin-Williams brand paint. Through our partnership we are able to purchase paint at an exclusive discount which we pass on to the customers. If, however, you prefer to use another brand paint, we will hapily accomodate that request.

  • Lead-based paints were banned for residential use in 1978. Homes built in the U.S. before 1978 are likely to have had some lead-based paint at some point. It is best to hire a professional to check for lead based paint. There are also a number of consumer lead test kits available for purchase at your local home improvement stores.
